Massage therapy

The therapeutic benefits of touch have been recognised for centuries. Today, massage is often used alongside conventional healthcare to support the management of various medical conditions.

Soothing touch stimulates the nerve endings in your skin, promoting feelings of well-being and body awareness. This may help reduce pain and ease anxiety.

Deep tissue massage, in particular, helps relax tight muscles and tissues, while also stimulating circulation and the lymphatic system. This process aids in the removal of waste from the body and can support a healthy immune system. It may also improve joint mobility, flexibility, and range of motion.

Regular massage can assist with injury management and prevention by keeping muscles, fascia, and joints supple and hydrated. Fascia—the connective tissue surrounding muscles and organs—is vital for optimal body function, and massage helps maintain its health.

What to Expect from Your Appointment

Each session is customised to your preferences. Before your massage, we’ll discuss your needs and any concerns you may have, and together, we’ll create a treatment plan. Your information will be kept strictly confidential, and all records will be stored securely.

Do I Stay Clothed or Use Oil?

You can choose whether to have a clothed massage or an oil-based one. Your privacy will be respected at all times.

What Happens After the Treatment?

After your session, you’ll have a few minutes to refresh in private. We always encourage you to compare how you feel before and after the massage. Self-care advice is provided to help you maximise the benefits of your treatment. If you’re dealing with a chronic injury a treatment plan will be discussed.

Can I Have a Massage If I Have a Medical Condition?
